Will I have to sign up for a long-term service plan?
No. We have maintenance programs available and certainly recommend that homes be on one of these to prevent a reinfestation. HOWEVER, whether or not you choose to continue with our services is YOUR CHOICE.
How much will it cost?
We believe that one size does NOT fit all. Important things that must be considered in determining the cost of a service include:
- The target pest: Different control methods are used for each different kind of pest. For some, control measures may solely include eliminating food, water, or harborage, while others may require a material application. However, even the kinds of baits, pesticides and rodenticides, and the application methods used differ depending on the type of pest.
- Size of your house or building being serviced
- Conducive conditions within your house/building and the surrounding environment.
Asking how much it will cost without considering these factors is synonymous with having your doctor write you a prescription without giving you an examination and diagnosing the problem.
There is no charge to provide an estimate for a specific pest problem. However, please note that this is different than a pest evaluation. All noises, smells, and inquiries that are unable to designate a specific pest or nest site (with yellow jackets) will first be handled with a pest evaluation. The cost for a pest evaluation is $75 + tax, which will be applied to your service, if it is determined that a service is necessary.
After evaluating the situation at hand, you will receive a written estimate showing the total charge for your service. Upon your approval, your service will be scheduled and treatment will be initiated.
We offer senior discounts (5%).
We accept Visa and Mastercards.
What You Can Expect Of Your Service:
- An inspection is scheduled through the office.
- The inspector arrives at the appointed time to evaluate the problem at hand
Document all pest activity that you’ve noticed and be ready to discuss these with your inspector. Make all areas accessible. Heavily stored items block accessibility and therefore visibility. These also serve as harborage areas for pests, inhibit the ability for treatment, and are especially important to be able to access.
- Based on the findings, a plan will be created for a treatment that best fits the IPM parameters.
A diagram will be supplied to better explain findings along with a written estimate showing all costs associated with your pest management plan.
- Upon your approval, a time will be scheduled to implement the plan.
- The Initial Service is performed. Since we’re dealing with living organisms, it usually takes a period of time for the treatment to work effectively and it is essential that you, as the customer, communicate any additional concerns with your inspector. Your inspector will educate you on exactly what to expect, though, so that you may let him or her know if additional control measures are needed.
- Following your initial pest service, additional services may be scheduled to follow up on the treatment and assure that the treatment has been effective.
- Modify plan as needed.
- With each season comes new circumstances that can contribute to your pest situations. These are known as conducive conditions. After your guarantee period ends, you may choose to be put on a maintenance program to prevent pests from re-infesting your home. Most homes are seen twice a year. We call this our Semi Annual Service.
